We are very proud of our library. We currently have a inventory of
11,279 books. Our hours are from 7:45 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
The
library has 9 computers available and we have an adjacent computer
lab which has 15 computers for students. We monitor 8 study halls a
day and 13 elementary library classes a week The students may come
in throughout the day to check out books, do research and use the
computers. Many other exciting things happen in the library. We hold
an annual Book Fair, third grade Berenstain Bear Sleepover, American
Girl Tea Party and display many exhibits from classes. We also have
a Birthday Book Club. You may donate a book to the library in honor
of your birthday. We will add your name to the display and put your
name inside the new book. This is a great way to help increase our
books and for students to share some of their favorites. This year
we are doing a Read it Bead it activity. Each time they read a book
they add a bead to the string. Our goal is to go around the library.
We are off to a great start. Please stop in and visit us sometime.
