SPONSORING OUT-OF-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Gehlen
Catholic School will sponsor or sanction only those out-of-school
activities (i.e. traveling sports teams, academic teams, etc.) and
the use of the Gehlen Catholic School name, logo, mascot or coat of
arms if the sponsors/coaches meet and abide by all the
applicable policies, procedures and requirements of Gehlen Catholic
School and the Diocese of Sioux City including but not limited to
the following:
1.
Meet
the Safe Environment Requirements of the Diocese of Sioux City;
2.
Operate under the polices and procedures of the Gehlen Catholic
Coaches Handbook;
3.
Provide, prior to the season, a schedule; list of coaching staff,
and transportation plan/drivers within the requirements of the
Diocese of Sioux City;
4.
Are
pre-approved by the Athletic Director, Administrator, and School
President.
