Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation

God works in mysterious ways. This time, He has done it through the State of Iowa.

When was the last time you could make a gift to Gehlen Catholic School and receive a 65% credit toward your state tax liability? You may even receive a federal deduction. New legislation this past summer has presented us with an unprecedented vehicle for supporting our Catholic schools.

We humbly ask you to prayerfully consider a gift through the Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation after consulting with your professional advisor. Your potential gift and the tax advantages you may reap, offer you a unique opportunity to share again. For some, it may be a chance to "give it twice." Please keep this in mind when pondering your parish, the school and other giving to charities in LeMars and throughout Plymouth County.

The Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation will enhance Gehlen Catholic School's ability to assist those families whose annual income is 300% or below the poverty level beginning in the fall of 2007.

Click here to read more about the Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation and say "yes" by filling out the form, and mailing it to the Msgr. Lafferty Fdn, % Gehlen Catholic School, 709 Plymouth St NE, LeMars, Iowa 51031. We appreciate all you do for the work of the Church and Catholic education!

Yours in Catholic education,

Lisa Niebuhr
Development Director
